Terms of Service
The terms on which Personal Workspace Connector is made available.

1. Nature of the application
Personal Workspace Connector (“the application”) is a self-hosted, personal-use application operated by a single private individual (“the operator”) on their own computer. It is not a commercial service, not a hosted service, and not distributed to the public. There is no fee, no subscription, no account registration and no service level of any kind.
These terms exist because an OAuth client requesting access to Google user data is expected to publish them. They govern the relationship between the operator and the application, and would govern the relationship with any additional individual the operator might expressly authorise to use their installation.
2. Eligibility and permitted use
The application may be used only by the operator, and only to access Google accounts that the operator owns or has been directly and lawfully authorised to access. It must not be used to access anyone else's account without that person's informed consent.
Use of the application must comply with applicable law, with the Google Terms of Service, with the Google APIs Terms of Service, and with the terms of any AI assistant the application is connected to.
3. Prohibited use
The application must not be used to:
- access, copy or modify data belonging to a person who has not consented;
- send unsolicited bulk email, or any communication that would breach anti-spam law;
- circumvent Google's rate limits, quotas or technical protections;
- resell, sublicense or provide access to the application as a service to third parties;
- carry out any activity that is unlawful in the operator's jurisdiction.
4. Third-party services
The application depends on services operated by others — Google's APIs, and the AI assistant the operator connects it to. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, they may change or be discontinued at any time, and the operator has no control over them. The application makes no commitment regarding their availability, behaviour or continued compatibility.
The application is an installation of google_workspace_mcp, independent open-source software released under the MIT licence. That project is not affiliated with these terms and provides its own.
5. No warranty
The application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. No guarantee is given that it will operate without interruption or error, that results will be accurate or complete, or that any defect will be corrected.
An AI assistant may misinterpret an instruction or produce an incorrect result. Operations that modify or send data — sending a message, deleting an item, altering a calendar event — should be reviewed by the operator before being relied upon.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the application.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Suspension and termination
The operator may stop using the application at any time by revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/connections, deleting the local credentials and removing the configuration. The application may be discontinued at any time, without notice, as it exists solely for the operator's convenience.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. The full revision history is public in the repository's commit history.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any mandatory consumer protections available under the law of the operator's place of residence remain unaffected.
